Just briefly, let us skim through some of the other predictions which have come to pass:
Ezekiel said that the Moabites and Ammonites would be destroyed.
Nahum said that Nineveh would fall.
Zephaniah said Nineveh would become a barren place.
Jesus predicted that the temple in Jerusalem would become a scattered pile of stones, and it did, when the Roman General Titus, son of the emperor Vespasian, ordered the defeat of the city.
