Doubtful tried to hide behind some grass, but
the puppy was fast, and it rushed towards him, barking and wagging its
tail. "Oh, no!" thought Doubtful. "What can I do?! This big, fierce dog
will surely eat me!" Suddenly Doubtful knew what he must do. He jumped
into the pond!
