Most of one of Patricia's wings was now hanging
in tatters. "Get down from there!" said Penny, "Before you lose
anymore!" Patricia didn't need much persuading. She started to jump
down
the tree, going from twig to twig. "BANG!" went the gun again, and more
of Patricia's feathers fell off.
