to twinkle.

"This is a cool camp" Pundi observed.

"Yeah, great" I replied, swatting the dancing sandflies around my face.

Spotty stabbed my sausage and made it drop into the ashes.

"Hey!" I shouted.

Spotty jabbed the sharp end of his stick at our faces.

Pundi and I backed off.

"Do you have to be such an animal?" I asked.

"Come here and say that" said Spotty.

I stayed where I was.

We tried to eat our sausages. I picked some of the black stuff off mine and sat by my tent door. Spotty got the tomato sauce and squirted most of it into the fire. Pundi watched in dismay.

"That was meant to last us three days" he said.

"I don't care." said Spotty, finishing the sauce off by drinking it.

Pundi said no more. He sat quietly, contemplating the fire. Later that evening, Pundi and I were some distance from the tents, gathering wood. Spotty was lying beside the fire, burning the comer of his sleeping bag. He destroyed everything, one way or another.

"If your enemy hungers" said Pundi, "Feed him."

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Its in the Bible," said Pundi, "Its given me an idea."

"What about? I don't understand?"

"No-one believes that Spotty is an animal, do they?" said Puudi.

"No" I replied.

"I will help to change their minds"

He didn't say any more. I think he was going to, but we were interrupted by the sound of Spotty laughing, and the smell of burning rubber filled the air. We ran back to the tents.
