Quite obviously, the Earth is a beautiful graveyard, with present life living on top of the corpses of a past world."

"Yes, I've heard this theory before," said John, but it doesn't stand up to Science".

"Yes it does. In fact, there are more scientist now who believe in a pre-flood world than there are who don't!"

John shifted uncomfortably.

"But suppose there was. What does that have to do with the moon?" "I don't know," said Phillip, "I honestly don't know, but I can't rule out the possibility that Man was even more advanced that we have ever been led to believe before the global flood. It just might be that space-travel was well on its way before everything was reduced to the Earth-bound existence again."

"If that was so, wouldn't you expect to find a lot of junk going about the Earth? Look at the stuff we've put out there in just the short time we've been moving out! Satellites that stopped working fifty years ago, and construction pieces, advertising, and the remains of space-stations...its like a junk yard around the Earth!"

Phillip nodded his head. "I agree, but we don't know what else happened when the Earth was covered in water. I think we ought to be open about this. No sense in ruling something out just because we don't know."

Paul cleared his throat.

"Ok you two! Next thing you'll be telling me Noah was a scientist as well as a boat-builder! Look, we've talked about this polygon thing for hours, but nobody has said a thing about what might be inside it. Have you wondered about that?"

"You mean there might be some sort of entrance?"

Exactly."

"But we can't even scratch the surface!" said John.

"Have another try tomorrow. If this structure is meant to be penetrated, it will be designed to allow entry. Lets assume that whoever or whatever put it here was intelligent, then we can logically expect to find the way prepared for us, right?"

There was always tomorrow.
