Mr. Grubbly went along the shelf looking for his
son, but there was no sign of him. He went right down to the end of the
shelf, and stopped beside the hole in the wall. "Surely not?" he
thought to himself, "Garry would never . . ." and then he heard a noise
behind him. "Yaaa!" shouted Garry, jumping down from the back of the
carved wooden elephant.
