Meteorite dust is gathered in by the earth's magnetic field.
Meteorite dust falls to
earth at the rate of 14 million tons every year. Over the assumed age
of earth - about 4,500 million years - this would result in a layer of
dust about 182 feet thick all over the eart. This estimate could
support the young earth position.
182 feet is about the height of an 18 story
building.
