But God made lenses for many creatures, long before Man invented one. The lens in the human eye can focus on things close up and far away as soon as we want it to. It is strong, light, and flexible. It also automatically adjusts itself to different light intensities, washes itself every few seconds while in use, and can last well over a
hundred years without need of major repair.
