The Biggest Boat in the World ( 1 of 2 )

If you read Genesis chapter 6 in the Bible, you will find the true story
of Noah and the boat he built. The boat was not Noah's idea - it was God's
God gave Noah the plans for how to build it, and Noah spent many years
working on the prodject.

At the time Noah was building the boat, the climate of the whole world was
different. Their was no heavy rain, and most of the world was flat, or
hilly, with streams and lakes and rivers. Huge forests grew everywhere,
and there were no polar caps, or vast oceans, or continents, or mountain
ranges, or volcanoes, or earthquakes, or tornadoes. instead of rain there
was a mist every morning, which gently watered everything. nobody at that
time had ever seen or heard of a flood, so the very idea of building a
huge boat seemed like a ridiculous, stupid thing to do!

But Noah believed what God had told him, and he kept working, until the
boat was finished. And then, finally, after many years, there it stood,
about as big as the Titanic, and about four stories high!.
