I Heard A Child Laugh
This poem was inspired by two things; One, my Great Aunt who inspired me to write a poem about this quote from my Great Grandma:"My day is complete: I heard a child laugh." The other is Maria, Steven Curtis Chapman's little girl who died tragicaly.

The Promised Kiss
I saw this elderly woman having dinner with her daughter. I could not stop staring at her as she reminded me of my Mom. I asked her for a hug, but she gave me a kiss and some words that only God could speak. I think God sent me an angel last night.
