"DADDY, DADDY"

Daddy, Daddy, my precious, Daddy
I just can’t believe you’re gone
I want you here with me right now
I want to sing you another song

I don’t want you to leave me right now
I simply need you by my side
Oh, Daddy, please come back
And wipe these tears from my eyes

I have so much more love I want to give
I need to hold you just one more time
I want to embrace you once again
I want to feel your hand holding mine

The love in my heart is so strong for you
I loved and love you ever so much
Being your little girl is such a gift
Love will always keep our hearts in touch

As I struggle to hold on to you now
The memories I have will cause you to live
The Lord will give me the strength I need
I will always remember the love you would give

Daddy, I will always be your little girl
I will always be near your side
Even when they bury you in the ground
My hope is deeper even though you’ve died

I will never forget the gentle side I seen in you
The beauty of your heart and warmth of your smile
Your deep sensitivity and desire for love
Continually helping and going an extra mile

Daddy, I need to release, but I’ll never you let go
I’ll never forget the love you’ve shown
