Jesus Reigns Forever

God tried through His prophets
to teach us His ways,
Then sent us His Son,
a much better way.
He's better than angels,
He's heir to the throne,
He's the true image of God,
He's come into His own...
He's more worthy than angels,
He's greater than kings,
He loves God's righteousness,
and hates worldly things.
He laid the foundation
of the world we now live.
He came as a man,
His salvation to give.
He will reign forever
in His heavenly place,
It will not diminish
or lose any grace.
God gave Him the angels
to help and assist
These poor mere mortals
to their heavenly rest.
