HE IS WITH YOU NOW
by Stan Arney © 2007

Imagine if you were in a room and no one noticed you
What would you think, more importantly what would you do
How would this make you feel, would you hurt deep inside
Would this make you wonder, if they thought you had died

Now imagine this is Jesus, and He is right here
Does that make you think, maybe fill your heart with fear
When you accept Christ in your life, He comes to live in you
As you abide in Jesus, He will truly abide in you

So Jesus is with you at this very moment
To touch your life and make you whole, it’s why He was sent
He sees everything you do and hears everything you say
He is sitting right next to you, as you sit down to pray

Think of Him as going with you, every place you may go
Don’t take my word for it, the Bible tells you so
He knows your every dream, every desire, every thought
Every good and bad decision you have made and since forgot

Now that you have insight to what Jesus means to you
Maybe this will create a positive change and view
He will hold and comfort you, when you really need a hug
If your pride gets too big, He is ready to pull your plug

He will not hesitate to bring you down to size
Ask Him your questions, but don’t bother with your lies
He will ask much of you, then ask you to do more
The very essence of your being, is what you will explore

So when you get that feeling that someone is watching you
Maybe it’s because you’re doing something you should not do
The thing they call your conscience, is really Jesus’ voice
Asking you to ponder the consequences of each choice.
