WHAT IS THE CHURCH?

The Church is the body of which Christ is the head
The Church is also the bride of which Christ is to wed
It is the sum of its parts, which are special and unique
The loss of any one member will leave it incomplete

Each piece has a specific position and role to fill
Perfectly placed by God according to their gift or skill
No one part is more important than any other part
To realize and accept this is a required start

Working together through faith, fellowship and praising God
To build a living, growing church that truly worships God
To provide encouragement and love to everyone
To care for the needs of each other must be done

Share our thoughts, beliefs, and the Lord’s Supper as well
When asked why we believe we never hesitate to tell
Spiritual instruction and accountability
Mature members to new believers responsibility

To equip God’s people to bear much fruit
To share the gospel with each new recruit
The Church is to be an extension of the Lord Jesus
His way and the Church’s way are to be synonymous

We are to love every sinner, but to hate their sin
When someone is in need, the Church is ready to step in
Together we pray to God, for the needs of all
Especially for those whom to sin, they did fall

We are not to differentiate between anyone
For God loves all His children, as does His beloved Son
The Church is the body of which Christ is the head
The good news of salvation, the message we spread.
