HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007 by Stan Arney © 2007 Happy New Year two thousand and seven Let us look at our prospects for Heaven God is first and foremost in our life Then comes our spouse, husband or wife Our children are very dear to our heart To bring them up Christian is a start Keep God’s commandments each and every one There is but one Savior, Jesus, God’s only Son Love everyone especially your enemy God’s true nature revealed for all to see For all have sinned and will continue to Will you try to stop that sin, is up to you Jesus did not come to be served but to serve Something we should each strive to do, if we have nerve For it is better to give than to receive Something to remember, come New Year’s Eve Share God’s Word, with everyone you meet Friend, acquaintance, or person on the street If you abide in Him, and Him in you There is no limit, with God’s help, what you can do For we are the branches of Jesus’ vine If we bear much fruit we will surely be fine We want our treasures to be laid up in Heaven Cause Jesus may return in two thousand and seven. |
