THAT?S CHRISTMAS by Stan Arney © 2007 Christmas should be the most joyful time of the year There should be no anger, hatred, sadness, or fear The Lord Jesus fills our heart with all of His God given love We celebrate that God gave us His gift from above An overwhelming desire to share this happiness Something we should all feel, is what I wish to express Pleasure is what you feel when you give a great gift You can see how much their spirit you helped to uplift It may be something they would not or could not buy Maybe something they have always wanted to try Something they have desired from their childhood A gift from the heart should be clearly understood In this spirit, you will give something of yourself Your love for others, a gift from God, is your treasured wealth Choose wisely for each person on your unique list Do not be afraid to ask the person for an assist Let God fill your heart with His all consuming love Know that it is His desire, His gift from above It is truly better to give than to receive My gift to you is that you now truly believe. |
