What Makes a Woman Beautiful

What makes a Woman Beautiful?

The woman that you see,
What will she look like at fifty-three?
What is left after the outer beauty dies?
Hidden behind it was disloyalty, disrespect and lies.

True inner beauty increases as she ages,
Her character, attitudes and qualities build in stages.
A truly beautiful woman is one who considers others more than herself,
She doesn’t worry about fashions, appearances or wealth.

She is respectable, worthy, righteous and just,
Not flirtatious, immodest, seeking nothing but lust.
She energetically devotes her time in something worthwhile.
When helping those in need, she’ll be the one to go the extra mile.

She is able to be content in whatever situation she’s in.
She doesn’t complain but instead will be the one to listen.
She’s secure in the love and attention she receives from the Lord,
She puts her all in everything she does so she won’t be bored.

Responding to life with strong emotions, nurturing and completing,
These are God-given gifts that she will not be misusing.
Her relationships are strong because she loves others as Christ loves her,
She looks for ways that she can consecrate herself to God further.

As she grows older, her beauty increases because it’s God she fears,
The years sharpen and mature her even through her tears.
Her sparkling eyes and vibrant smile she has in her youth,
They will never fade or die out, that’s the truth.

From the well of life, she draws her strength
It is this woman whose life will have length.
This woman is the one whose inner beauty causes her to glow,
She has character and personality that will do nothing but grow.

So look past the beauty that is on the outer surface,
For a beautiful woman has so much more to offer than her pretty little face.
She has an undying love for Jesus Christ,
This love is far more than enough to suffice.
