Struck by Thunder by brian God looks down from Heaven and knows what I've done and yet He is merciful still I don't understand how His patience can last when He knows that I'm out of His will My prayer life is hindered and He cannot hear me with unconfessed sin in my heart His love is constraining and His heart is paining for fellowship as at the start I feel so unworthy and wait for His vengeance knowing I'm guilty and vile But the conviction is stronger and I'll wait no longer to let the sin in my heart pile Now He has forgiven and shown that His mercy through love can put sin asunder Yes, He could have killed me with one bolt of lightning, but instead, He struck me with thunder. |
