Precious Lamb by Sandy Morales © 2005 A story foretold from the prophets of old, of a Lamb that would be slain. He went to the slaughter to save the sons and daughters, of the father from whom He came. He sent Him to us so that we might be saved, from a wicked world and its tempting ways. He was brutally beaten beyond recognition, then nailed to a cross for His crucifixion. Every drop of blood shed for you and for me, bringing us salvation, setting us free. Three days in the tomb, no more could He stay, fulfilling His destiny, the price had been paid. Think of His life and all He went through, the blood represents a covering for me and for you. Not a day should go by that we do not give thanks to the Father above and His Lamb that was slain. Think of His sacrifice and what it means to you, through the blood we are cleansed and all made anew. You see, I know the truth, and where the Glory lies, It's in the Three -N- One for opening my eyes. |
