As I sit in class and look around
My heart is weakened by what I have found
The geeks have straight A's and they think they're so smart
But it's Christ they don't know and have in their heart
The jocks win games and they think they're so strong
But without Christ, Satan follows them along
As I look around, tears fill my eyes
The knowledge they've fed upon are mostly lies
They assume a meteor struck the earth
And that's how land had it's birth
When will they open their eyes and believe
In the beginning there was Adam and Eve
It strikes me each day and fills me with strife
How people are wasting God's precious gift of life
From myself not many have heard
The reliable truth of God's word
But I pray that God opens the door
So I may share Christ and others learn more
