Tomorrow
by Kathleen Higham

Oh God we pray for strength
Our little one has come to You
And broken hearts beseech You
Begging Lord what can we do

For we have no understanding
Agonizing in our unbelief
As tears fall down relentlessly
Shocked with unbearable grief

Oh God we pray for strength
Believing that You are there
Our little one sits beside You
We know how much You care

But we are pining for her
Feeling that it's so unfair
And yet we fall to our knees
Crying out to You in prayer

Your presence surely fills us
You feel our pain and sorrow
Reaching out to touch our hearts
Whispering it's only till tomorrow

Oh God we pray for strength
Your tomorrow brings us peace
Drawing us to Your Holiness
In time our suffering will cease

Her tiny hand rests in Yours
And this precious child can see
Tomorrow Lord Your tomorrow
When it comes together we'll be
