"If"

As I fall asleep tonight
The Lord is right beside me
And in the morning if I wake
He's waiting there to guide me

And every moment of my life
Each breath that I inhale
My Lord and Savior knows it
He sees me when I fail

But if I come before Him
On my knees in prayer
The Lord is ever present
Always always He is there

For we are on a daily walk
And if to Him we cry
He will hear and answer us
No prayer will he deny

If we truly believe in Him
Especially when we feel sorrow
He will carry us through it all
We're not to worry of tomorrow

If we choose to trust Him
Living our life from day to day
Promises for thousands of years
Will come to light our way

If we call upon His name
Letting go of time and space
He will hear our fervent plea
When we humbly seek His face

Everything that comes to pass
Our Lord has complete control
Timeless is Almighty God
If you ask Him inside your soul
