Waves of Mercy at the Kingdom Door
by Kathleen Higham

Powerful, unexpected, mighty
Unspeakable pain left in its wake
Crushed by the storm, not destroyed
All things happen for His sake.

One lone tear poured down, down
The wave came, swept him away
The Kingdom Door swung open wide
When he met the Lord that day.

Waves of mercy lifted her
To the Heavenly Father on high
He touched her battered heart
Then caressed her with His sigh.

One lone tear poured down, down
Carried her back to this place
Surrounded by all who love her
And the strength of His grace.

Waves of mercy wash over her
Close her eyes in restful sleep
He cries softly to His daughter
No more tears shall you weep.

One lone tear poured down, down
Waves of mercy ebb and flow
Safe haven at the Kingdom Door
On that day only God could know.

Pray for each other in the Spirit
Cry out, as we never have before!
Waves of mercy and one lone tear
Brings eternal life forevermore…

Psalm 107:25-30
"For He spoke and stirred up a tempest that lifted high the waves. They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away. They reeled and staggered like drunken men; they were at their wit's end. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble and He brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; they were glad when it grew calm, and He guided them to their desired haven."
