Together

Of myself I am not able,
To fulfill my Lord's command,
Only in Christ do I have the power
To love my fellowman.
He gives me strength to speak to them,
And tell them God is love
And that He came to die for them,
Reconciling them to God above.

For the love of God goes deeper,
Than the depths of sin and shame,
And the grace of God reaches out
To all who call upon His name.
For there's power in the Name of Christ,
And love beyond all measure,
To every child of Adam's race,
Who would obtain this Treasure.
But I must be the hand of God,
Stretched out to those in sin,
Forever sharing the gospel
Bringing the wanderer in.
