TIME

Speeding down the road we fly
Barely time to see what we pass by
In this world of rush, rush, rush
We do not stop to hear the hush
Of this beautiful world we live in
We are too busy with our livin

Do we stop to see the beauty of a tree?
To wonder and acknowledge it is made by Thee?
What of listening for sweet bird song
Nope, we can't, it takes too long
And what of the grass blowing in the breeze
We say, no time if you please

So if we have no time to look and see
How will we have time to learn Lord of Thee?
We need to slow down and look around
To see the beauty that abounds
We need to thank You each and every day
For leading us and guiding us along the way
