True Friendship

I'll be there for you when dawn awakes the beginning of a day.
I'll be there for you before His throne, as in His name we pray.
I'll be there for you in spirit, as you do your daily task.
I'll be there in reality when needed, anytime you ask.

I'll walk beside you when you're troubled and life isn't right.
I'll walk beside you to make your dreary day turn bright.
I'll walk beside you when you're overwhelmed and have given your all.
I'll walk beside you to support you, so you don't get hurt or fall.

Friendship is not something that comes and goes like hours of the day.
Friendship is built by love and caring as we face whatever comes our way.
Friendship is a choice of each other, we make at the start.
Friendship is a precious treasure that deeply moves our heart.

I am thankful for your friendship, and pray it will never end.
I am thankful you are a Godly person, the very truest kind of friend.
I am thankful you stand with me as in life, we both are tried.
I am thankful as friends we walk together, by each others side.

I am thankful for your friendship that you've allowed to come my way.
I am thankful for your kindness, love and caring that brightens my day.
I am thankful for your Godliness, as it shows in all you do.
But, most of all I'm thankful for God's precious gift of you.
