My Destiny by Gertrude Jefferies He has my destiny all planned And though I cannot see Just what it is he has in store I know he'll walk with me. I do not have to fear or fret I do not have to know But I do have to trust his heart Because he loves me so. Sometimes I'll walk in the sunshine Sometimes I'll walk in the rain Sometimes my pathway may be smooth Sometimes rugged terrain. Some days may be in the valley Some days on the mountain top I know I'll never be alone Whatever may be my lot. I cannot see my tomorrows Know not what the future may hold But there's one thing I know for sure My Heavenly Father knows. He'll walk every step beside me And supply my every need We'll have blessed sweet communion As I follow, and He leads. His loving arms enfold me I'm covered by his Grace. And when my journey is complete I'll see him face to face. |
