WHEN MY LIFE IS OVER

When my life on earth is o'er
And I bid you all adeiu
I'll go sailing through the air
To a home beyond the blue

There to dwell with Christ my Lord
Ever more with Him to be
Where I'll find sweet peace and joy
And I'll live eternally

In that bright home of the soul
There'll be no trouble or strife
No sorrow, sickness or pain
We shall have a perfect life

When I meet my Savior dear
And my life crown has been won
I'll kneel at His blessed feet
And thank Him for what He's done

Sing no sad songs when I'm gone
And please shed no tears for me
I'll be at home with Jesus
There to live eternally

I'll be with the one who gave
Himself upon Calvary
He bore the cross, shed His blood
To save a poor wretch like me.

Take thy cross and follow Him
Let Him guide you on your way
Put your faith and trust in Him
We'll meet again some sweet day

With our Savior we shall be
Where all is peace, joy and love
And we'll live to part no more
In that blessed home above
