Only Time by Kathleen Higham Time is passing so quickly No longer standing still At times a little fear creeps in Thinking, I'm over the hill The mirror is not my friend And so often there is strife It's not so easy anymore I wonder about my life Time is passing so quickly In my heart there is a concern My mind is slow to grasp it There is an urgency to learn Help me understand Your Word But most of all let me be true Thankful for this life I live For it is always about You Time is passing so quickly Looking back can bring sorrow Oh, don't let me go there Lord Maybe I'll be here tomorrow And if tomorrow comes again I pray to the Lord to see Open my heart to serve You Before You come for me Time is passing so quickly And I hope to use it well Another day, a gift from You Only time, only time will tell |
