Trials of Life

In everyday life we go through trials
It seems there are times they go up hill for miles
We do our best to hang on tight
Then a voice within whispers "It will be alright"
God never gives more than we could bare
We know in our hearts He really does care
Trials are a blessing even though we think not
They're God's way of saying, "I want to be sought"
He loved us so much to count the hairs on our head
It was us on His mind from the tears He had shed
He's always here right by our side
In Him He always wants us to confide
He'll never leave that's His promise to all
He'll take our hands to pull us up when we fall
To guide and direct and to do His good will
With the Holy Spirit He wants to fill
When I get in trouble I call on His name
God's much more powerful than fortune and fame
So when you're down and your trial seems like a mile
Just trust in God, He'll turn your frown into a smile
