Life is a Gift

The first time you hear your child's heart beat, reality sets in
Suddenly you realize, a new life did begin
Being blessed with this precious seed, is surely from God above
Thank Him for the wonderful gift, to know a Mother's love
Before too long the months go by
Finally, you hear your baby cry
Those cries turn into baby talking
Each step taken, turns to walking
They grow so fast before your eyes
Lots of questions, and lots of why's?
One day unexpectedly, you will be caught off cue
When you hear the words of your very own child, say, "Mommy, I love you!"
Life really is a beautiful choice
It's a time to be happy, and in God Rejoice!
