Rest Assured

As we go about,
the things we do
and the daily grind
takes its toll on you.

We sometimes think,
that God has failed
but rest assured
His love, has not paled.

When disappointments,
come your way
and those you trusted
have turned away.

We sometimes think,
that God doesn't care
but rest assured
He still is there.

When all around you,
seems dark and gray
and you cannot see
the light of day.

We sometimes think,
God is not close at all
but rest assured
He won't let you fall.

For God surely knows,
about all of our trials
and He promises to turn
our tears into smiles.

So when life is getting,
the best of you
rest assured . . .
He'll see you through!
