Until I am Safe With Thee

Sunlight plays on dancing water,
And I suddenly find,
That my life like a ship totters,
On the sea of time.

You walked on waves of water,
And healed the blind,
Though I may at times falter,
Help me make the climb.

Just as I long after solid shore,
You long for my soul,
If I would only trust you more,
Then I'd not stumble so...

You who guide the river's flow,
Chart a course for me.
Lead me down life's winding road,
Until I am safe with Thee...
