The Spirit

Euphoria is the presence of love,
The spirit speaking its deepest desire.
It brings warmth to the heart melting pain,
Keeping us secure in the purest fire.

Having faith in something that can't be seen,
Is just like trusting a complete stranger.
If your heart is true with sincerity,
Then God will protect you from all danger.

Jesus is the vine, we are his branches,
God provides sunlight and rain, for our growth.
We pray for guidance on this earthly maze,
And receive it, because of our one oath.

Surrender your life to the one true king,
And all your needs will be met in God's time.
Keep it for yourself and wander alone,
And you will be committing a great crime.

Trials will come to test your high promise,
Remain steadfast and your faith will flourish.
Yet if you abandon grace your heart breaks,
Forms a beach, waves of pain will not nourish.

Mortality grants us only one chance,
A chance to make a choice in where we go.
So find out the truth before it's too late,
Then eternal joy is all you will know.
