Waters of Azure Blue by Kathleen Higham I am floating, floating, floating On waters of azure blue Billowing clouds caress the sky Mesmerized by all You do Breathing in the salty air Surrounded by such love Incredulous of Your creativity Touching me from above Creatures come to greet me Reaching down into the sea Silky waves embracing My God, my God, I'm free Massive wings hover gracefully Landing gently by my side A bird created intimately In an instant, my heart cried Oh, the vastness of the ocean I am deeply awed by You Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful Lord, thank you for this view Imagining the sights of Heaven Seeing it through Your eyes Feeling Your breath upon me As Your holy wind sighs So close, so close to Glory My senses acutely aware Encompassed by the Father I know it, know He's there So, I await in absolute joy On waters of azure blue In that moment of ecstasy Till I ride a wave to You. |
