The Lord Is Coming

In the night, so deep and still,
I hear His footsteps, just over the hill.

The grass once green, now turn to straw,
And stars in the sky, all withdraw.

Even spiders cease weaving their webs,
As baby Robins stop, and bow their heads.

And as the sun is receding,
The Saints cry out, one final pleading.

The Lord is coming, prepare the way.
Open your heart, kneel and pray.
