FIND YOUR COURAGE by Stan Arney © 2008 Have you ever told yourself, it is time to quit We all have, at one time or another, we can admit Where do we get the courage to go on Where do we find the nerve we rely upon It comes from within, a desire to stay alive Let me put it more simply, we want to survive Be it a spelling bee, or an athletic competition A board game or something created for television We have a need to continue to try to win it all This way of thinking will always lead to your downfall As long as we strive to meet Man's idea of success We will live under a cloud of immense stress Imagine if we put that energy into God's work By reading our Bible, we keep up with our homework Place your life in His hand, and do what He says should be done So it was written, but who said it could not be fun The joy we feel when we accomplish His bidding The abundance of blessings can be quite overwhelming When you say, "God bless you", mean it with all your heart Do unto others, is truly a great way to start Just think, God can do anything and He is on your side This also means you have no place at all to hide With God, all things are possible and that is true Trust Him or not, the choice is up to you. |
