His Poem

God is the Author, I am His Poem.
He will write until the day He calls me home.

My sonnet is being written, every verse every line.
I am His workmanship; I am His poetic rhyme.

Every rhythm inscribed, every single part,
The words come from the very beating of my heart.

Every prayer lifted, every deed, every strife,
This is what He writes in my eternal poem of life.

I am His inspiration, the reason He sent His Son.
The reason His heart cried out when my soul was finally won.

He is writing me into perfection, the word that he inscribes
With the ink of crimson red, the epic of my life.
