The Sound Of Wind by Kathleen Higham The wind speaks her sound to me An amazing melody she will tell When it bellows a worthy breeze Sometimes she rings a bell. A soft whistling through a tree Then a flag snaps in the air Waves crashing to the shore The wind of course is there. The wind speaks her sound to me When on the chimes it blows Musically will play a song Then magically wind goes. Howling in the dark of night Or fiercely rumbling through I hear her in the distance Each sound she brings is new. The wind speaks her sound to me Dancing colorfully under a kite Whipping about artistically God, how I love this sight. A massive bird hovers above The wind beneath its wing This forceful flutter touches me As if the bird could sing. The wind speaks her sound to me When a can clangs down a street The children squealing merrily This joyful sound will meet. The miracle that comes in wind Although invisible, but real When the sound embraces me It's the breath of God I feel. |
