Faith In The Storm by Antoinette Lujano © 2002 Precious child torn with tempest, Tossing through a stormy sea; Don't you know my hand upholds you, Keep your faith, your trust in ME. Be tempted not to glance behind you, Shards of shipwreck bring but fear; Keep your gaze, your eyes upon me, The waters calm as you draw near. Close your ears to sounds of thunder, Tremble not at lightning's flash; Look! The lighthouse looms before you, Shores of peace as storms you pass. And as the dawn breaks 'ore the horizon, The tempest dies, the waters still; Know that it was I that led you, That my purpose be fulfilled. So, precious child torn with tempest, Tossing through a stormy sea; Rest and know my hand does hold you, Keep your faith, your trust in me. |
