God of the Universe

God of the universe,
You hold me like a lamb.
Like a little child
My life is in your hand.

God of the universe,
You know the great and small.
May your peace abound in me:
May grace unite us all.

God of the universe,
May sad and sorry stand.
May we give thanks to You our King
For time is in your hands.

God of the universe,
May Love overshadow me,
That when we are persecuted
Love may set us free.

God of the universe,
May we all be still.
The mystery of Love to find
And longings to fulfill.

God of the universe,
Where Strength meets Mystery.
Beautiful is how you see us;
Your vision is Love to me.

God of the universe,
Be in everything we do.
May time be short till we can see
The Mystery of You.
