I Wander
by mike bullock

I wander lonely as a cloud
Riding thermals as they come
Trusting that The Lord I serve
Will enable me to plumb
Constant depths of worldly ways
Tugging roughly at my sleeve
Keep your eyes on Me, He says
It's My air you have to breathe.

So the tightrope that I walk
Means my balance must be right
Ears and eyes attuned to Him
Who has already won my fight
Believing that I live no more
Dead to self and devils lure
I walk in Jesus, perfect One
For my ills, He is the cure.
