Just as I am
by Joy Wieters

To myself I don't feel pretty
Don't feel I'll ever be enough.
For I really Love the beauty
And hate the hurry and the huff.

I dream of better places
Where they're no pressures outside
To be someone I'm really not.
Where I've nothing to hide.

When I am truly honest
With myself I find that I
Am broken down, now can be found
The treasures deep inside.

Then through God's eyes I see myself
He re-kindles my heart
To give my best, He'll do the rest.
'How truly great Thou art.'

God doesn't need a reason
To hold us like a Lamb.
Though the world may shun it;
I am just as I am.
