The Gift by Deborah Ann Belka The artist is nothing without the Gift, no portrait would ever be so grand all the colors would run together without the touch of the Master's hand. The musician is nothing without the Gift, no melody would ever be sung or played the notes would lie alone on the sheet without the Creator's support and aid. The poet is nothing without the Gift, no poem would ever come alive the rhyme would be dull and lifeless without the Word to help it to survive. The architect is nothing without the Gift, no bridge would ever cross the span the connection would not bear up without putting Salvation in His plan. There is no talent without the Gift, no one would be able to vie or compete our abilities would lie unfinished Ah, but the Gift makes us complete! |
