Nothing More Nothing Less Nothing Else

Lord I seek You every morning
With a heart so contrite
Let me give You nothing less
For You are my delight.

Lord I seek You every morning
When my soul I lay bare
Wanting, needing nothing else
Then I pray the scary prayer.

Lord I seek You every morning
And I feel You come to me
Whatever it takes, I trust You
As I beg my heart to see.

Lord I seek You every morning
When I relive the horror
Surrendering my brokenness
I pray the scary prayer once more.

Lord I seek You every morning
Until I find Your peace
Nothing more, nothing less, I cry
The war within must cease.

Lord I seek You every morning
With this prayer in my head
Nothing more, nothing less, nothing else
The scariest words I've ever said.

Lord I seek You every morning
Whatever it takes, I say
The scary prayer releases me
And I trust You come what may.
