In this Bible!

May you find guidance and love within this book
Wherever you turn and wherever you look.
I pray faith and love will grow with you there
As you handle each page with tender care.
Each page contains wisdom and joy of various kinds
As you plunge into its pages renewing your mind.
As you search through each page and read each line
Wisdom and knowledge is what you'll find.
I pray for comfort in your heart this night
And guidance, for you, to his perfect light.
Seek for his anointing at every turn
As he stirs your heart causing you to yearn
For more of his presence every day,
Fulfilling his promises along your way.
Each step you take he's marked out for you.
So allow his Word to guide you through.
As you walk with him up each stair
His hope and presence will meet you there.
I pray that you see through the Father's eyes
The Word of God, not compromised.
And don't ever be ashamed to think of Him
For his love will embrace you and take your sin.
Enjoy this Word through your troubled times
And increase in wisdom while pond'ring its lines.
Oh, friend, live up to what he's expecting of thee
As you run the Father's race with dignity.
Hold up your head, yes, high and proud
As you shout his praises right out loud.
Don't be afraid to open it when you're in trouble
For the answers are here in your Holy Bible!
