Under God's Control

Let the lightning strike; let the thunder fly
Under God's wings I'm safe and dry.
May the sky grow dark; may the sun fall down;
My God will keep me safe and sound.
May the earth shake; may the water rise;
May the fire fall from Heaven's skies.
May the tempest rage; may the tempest roll;
Onto Christ's anchor I take hold.
And ride the waves that life may throw,
Whatever rages against my soul.
I will not fear; for they are under God's control
