Go With God, Saxon
by Gertrude Jefferies

You are going away and leave us,
So we've placed you in God's care.
Many miles will separate us,
But know God will always be near.

We have asked for His protection,
On your life here and abroad,
That angels may surround you, Saxon
Wherever your feet may trod.

And should there happen trouble
Know you'll never be alone,
For prayer will be your covering
God watches you from His throne.

Then when at last your job is done,
And God brings you home again,
We'll have one grand reunion, Saxon
Giving thanks to His wonderful Name.
