The Body of Christ by Patricia Joan Polhans The body of Christ is a unit, though made up of many parts. Its' segments are but many, forming one body and one heart. Some sections of the body that are seeming, yet, to be Weaker an unattractive, need greater maturity. The ear can't say to the eye, I will have no part of thee. For all must grow together in spiritual maturity! Those found insignificant are ones that are needed most. Without them the whole body wouldn't be fully composed. The parts that are still lacking Require acceptance and honor Each having equal concern for their virtuous brothers. All should be doing their part, confounding the bold and the wise, Components necessary in completing the body of Christ. All must be built up in their spirits, coming in line with the Word of God Having all parts fitted together and doing their task of love. |
