Come, Taste and See
by Patricia Bankhead © 2008

Come into My presence. Leave your worries behind.
Come, let Me touch you. I'll give you peace of mind.
Come, if only for a moment. Put everything on hold.
In My presence you'll find rest. Yes, peace for your soul.

I can see your heartache. I can feel your pain.
Come into my presence. You have so much to gain.
Let Me hold you in My arms. Let Me wipe your tears.
Satan can't touch in My presence. There is no need to fear.

Doubt Me not in your heart. There is so much I can do.
I love you so much. I long to spend time alone with you.
Let Me heal your hurts. Build you up where you are weak.
I'll give you your heart's desire. Ask Me, knock and seek.

So forget about problems. Meditate on Me alone.
I promise you will smile. For your hope is not gone.
Come unto Me Your Savior. I'll wrap you in My love.
Come, taste and see. Experience blessings from above.

Psa 34:8, 9:3, 55: 22 (KJV) O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trust in him. When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence. Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
